PRP is an autologous preparation of platelet-rich plasma derived from own blood. Active blood cells contained in plasma release growth factors, which are important for regeneration of skin cells.

Growth factors stimulate the growth and maturation of epidermal cells, stimulate synthesis of extracellular matrix, activate micro-vasculature and stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen, among other things.

The treatment is relatively quick and easy, performed by a specialist. Phase one involves drawing a small quantity of blood using the vacuum method. After whirling, platelet containing plasma is obtained.

Around 4 ml of platelet rich plasma is produced. SkinPen® or DermaFrac™ Microchannel Technology can be used to deliver PRP into the skin.

The first effects of the treatment are visible after two weeks. Tissue reconstruction begins already 48 hours after the first treatment.

The biggest stimulation of collagen production occurs one month after the treatment.

The improvement of the tightness, flexibility and density of the skin, collagen fibres remodelling, and smoothing of fine lines is achieved after three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

For hair loss: as soon as after two treatments, considerable thickening of hair and improved hair condition is visible

As all the components received in PRP have autologous origin, the risks of a local immunological response, intolerance and allergy are excluded.

Contraindications include:

• Neoplasms

• Blood diseases

• Cancer

• Autoimmune diseases

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Taking drugs prolonging the bleeding period (e.g. aspirin)

• Taking care of the treatment skin area

• Moisturizing the skin

• Avoiding sunshine, applying cream with sunscreen

After a series of treatments, the main effect is stimulation of the skin for natural production of collagen and elastin. The treatment helps in absorption of active ingredients into the skin leaving it nourished. It also leads to improvement of the skin tightness leaving it significantly younger. SkinPen® is also used in treatment of acne scars and alopecia. It reduces fine lines and creases, narrows pores and eliminates stretch marks.

The series depends on the skin type and problems reported by the patient. The best effects are achieved after a series of 4-6 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart. The therapy is arranged on an individual basis.

Immediately after the treatment, the patient may experience mild burning and the feeling of heat. Eight hours after the treatment, the skin should be washed with a delicate cleaning agent for sensitive skin. For skincare, you should use our natural Revieve Clinic™ Skincare products. These products will speed up skin healing and reduce redness and swelling without inhibiting inflammation. You should absolutely apply high-factor sunscreen at least two week after the treatment.

You may experience slight discomfort - immediately after the treatment you can feel a slight itching and short-term burning sensation. Reddening and swelling of the treated area may be visible for a few days after the treatment. This is a normal reaction of the body to the treatment, it does not require special care and will disappear on its own.

As after any treatment involving punching of the skin, development of hematomas is possible.

During the treatment, thanks to fractional micro-needling, we can insert active substances into the skin, stimulating the skin to remodel and create networks of new collagen fibres.

The preparations delivered into the skin are a cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, micronutrients, hyaluronic acid and plant extracts.
